Join us at Volvo Group as an Industrial Engineer and help shape sustainable transport solutions. This role focuses on designing, managing and optimizing the supply chain of aftermarket parts for Volvo brands across North America.

Network Industrial Engineer – Process, Systems and Automation Location:
Regional Distribution Centers (North America)
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement and Optimization: Analyze current logistics and warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Design and implement standardized workflows, KPIs, and lean methodologies throughout the supply chain utilizing Lead DC concepts and principles.
Lead cross‑functional Kaizen events and projects to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Recommend and prioritize IT changes to support operational improvements.
Warehouse Slotting & Optimization: Analyze current warehouse layouts and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement efficient slotting strategies to optimize space utilization and product flow.
Technology & Automation: Evaluate and implement automation solutions (e.g., conveyor systems, robotics, WMS enhancements) and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Project Management: Manage and execute logistics engineering projects from concept through implementation, tracking and reporting progress, savings, and ROI.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and develop dashboards for continuous improvement.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated use of AutoCad or similar tools to create accurate warehouse layouts, process flow diagrams, and spatial planning documents. Translate operational requirements into visual schematics, ensuring safety and ergonomic principles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
Experience with installation and management of automated storage and retrieval systems.
Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and automation technologies.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
