Title: Industrial Engineer Location: Westmont, IL Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform required duties as assigned by and under the supervision of senior engineers.

Identify, formulate, and solve complex production challenges to improve safety, quality, and cost.

Develop and implement process improvements using engineering judgment and data analysis.

Conduct appropriate experimentation to identify bottlenecks and increase efficiency.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and reduce non-value-added activities.

In conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator, act as a liaison between County Prestress and contractor, owner, architect, and erector.

Visit jobsites and County Prestress production facilities on a regular basis to become familiar with production and erection procedures and the problems that may occur.

Know the schedule for all phases of the project and make sure the customer’s (including production) needs are always met.

Provide training to employees on best practices and process standardization.

Conduct regular audits of identified best practices. Report deficiencies to Ops. Manager.

Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to interpret technical data and make data-driven decisions

Experience in concrete manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus

Valid driver's license and a good driving record required

This position requires the candidate to be based locally due to on-site responsibilities and occasional local travel.
