What You Will Be Doing As the Electrical Supervisor for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will lead a team of electricians and electrician helpers as they complete electrical installs for industrial packaging. The position works closely with production, project management and quality in collaboration to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue/profit for YES.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Lead and manage a team of electricians, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.

Coordinate and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and other projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for the team.

Follow all quality standards and hold team accountable to quality targets.

Complete all necessary inspection checklists and documentation. Record any issues found and the corrective actions taken.

Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Schedule

2:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.

Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university; technical certification; or related equivalent experience.

3+ years of demonstrated maintenance or electrical experience required. Manufacturing leadership.

Required Qualifications/Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficient in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Deep understanding of the manufacturing business.

Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them.

Ability to maintain relationships with diverse groups, including vendors, customers, and employees.

Advanced problem solving capabilities.

Bilingual abilities are a plus - read, write, and speak Spanish

Environmental Job Requirements Environment

Most of your time is spent standing/walking.

Willing to work in extreme weather conditions and around loud noises.

Physical

Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn.

Travel

Typically requires travel 10% of the time.
