We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage the design, programming, and delivery of advanced Building Automation and Critical Infrastructure Control Systems. This position blends technical leadership and hands‑on engineering expertise in PLC systems, DDC Systems, and supervisory platforms such as Inductive Automation Ignition and OSI Monarch. You will guide a skilled team delivering highly reliable control solutions for data centers, life sciences, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor BAS and PLC engineers across design, programming, graphics, and commissioning.
Oversee technical delivery and ensure projects meet design, quality, and performance standards.
Develop and integrate control solutions using PLC, ALC, Niagara N4, Ignition, and OSI platforms.
Define and enforce engineering standards, templates, and QA/QC processes.
Serve as a technical interface between engineering, project management, field operations, and customers.
Contribute to scope development, proposals, and preconstruction support for complex automation projects.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering.
7+ years of BAS, PLC, or SCADA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.
Proficient in designing and programming systems with PLC/DDC (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Automated Logic, Alerton, Distech and Tridium Niagara)
Experience configuring Ignition or OSI Monarch for supervisory control and integration.
Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, OPC, and MQTT communication standards.
Background in mission‑critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or pharmaceutical facilities.
Knowledge of HVAC water and air distribution systems and their integration with BAS/SCADA controls.
Certifications
Automated Logic (ALC) Certified Engineer
Tridium Niagara N4 Certified
Inductive Automation Ignition Core or Gold Certification
Allen‑Bradley/Siemens/Schneider PLC certification
PMP, PE, or ISA CAP
Salary $145-175K DOE.
