Civil Project Engineer II/III
Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity to work on routine and complex structures including bridge, building, renewable energy and ancillary structure designs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform rehabilitation designs for bridges and buildings
Conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations
Support project planning including scope, schedule, and budget development
Assist in project and task management
Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development
Skills and Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
2+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design
PE License is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standards
Proficiency in structural design software
Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development
NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus
