Structural Technician III – Point Solutions Group
Point Solutions Group is hiring a Structural Technician to work with a major space technologies client in Englewood, CO. As a Structural Technician III, you will assemble and create major assembly structures and perform minor part‑fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. You will align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures, measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions, modify incomplete and complete assemblies, and monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Requirements
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and hearing the difference between colors. Requires hearing abilities to discern different tones and volumes. Frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions
Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.). Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Frequently exposed to loud noises. Safety Sensitive Position
Responsible for the safety or security of people or property; inspects structures, equipment or vehicles. Performs aviation related duties. Operates or supervises vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery. Skills
Must have/own tools in good working order. Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications; installs per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch. Progressive experience with structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques, and repair/finishing such as airframe corrosion removal. Ability to install fasteners such as rivets and hi‑locks. Ability to travel. Background in Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense, NASA, or US Military. Current active SECRET clearance Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience. A higher‑level degree may substitute for experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education. Required Skills
