Position Summary: The incumbent provides, coordinates, and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. The incumbent is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal and professional development, and conducting themselves professionally. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license One (1) year of experience in an acute care setting as a Registered Nurse OR experience with scrubbing and circulating abilities Current BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) Overview Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313-bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with a focus on advocacy for the poor and underserved.
