We are hiring on behalf of one of our prime clients for a
Quality Engineer (Chemical)
position. This role ensures manufacturing processes and products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate across departments to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes using PFMEA, PCP, QMS, and Lean principles. Monitor production process capability to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, Six Sigma). Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Lead internal and supplier audits to maintain quality compliance. Collaborate with design, production, procurement, and supply chain teams to enhance quality performance. Utilize SPC, DOE, and statistical tools to identify trends and improve manufacturing efficiency. Support new product development, process validation (CQV), and trial standards to ensure product conformity. Train and guide cross-functional teams on quality tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement practices. Work closely with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and reduce defects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field. 7–10 years of experience in plant quality or continuous improvement roles. ASQ certification preferred. Strong experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause methodologies (8D, FMEA). Proficiency in SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis software. Deep understanding of ISO-9000 and quality auditing processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work across production, R&D, and supplier environments; travel up to 75%. Benefits
