Real Estate Commercial Portfolio Manager Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (office based)
Responsibilities
Manage and service a portfolio of real estate commercial term loans and construction loans.
Analyze financial statements, perform risk grading, address industry risks, determine collateral requirements, and structure loans.
Assist in preparing loan presentations and monitoring individual loan performance.
Handle reporting on loans, including past‑due status, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, taxes, insurance, property inspections, problem loans, loan concentrations, and portfolio profitability.
Stay informed of financial and market trends that impact the portfolio and analyze their effects.
Maintain relationships with borrowers and real estate bankers for new and existing loan requests.
Provide strong, communicative service to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
1+ year of real‑estate credit or 3+ years of related lending experience.
Knowledge of real‑estate commercial lending, credit analysis, financial statement analysis, tax analysis, credit scoring, and loan documentation.
Strong relationship, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
