Position Summary The Revenue Auditor is responsible for reviewing and auditing source data to provide accurate and timely entry to accounting systems and sub‑systems in accordance with company policy and state regulations. The role adheres to all Internal Control Policies and Procedures, the Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and ensures that company accounting procedures and reporting conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

General Accountabilities

Gather and reconcile revenue and other financial and statistical information for all revenue departments utilizing various accounting systems/reports.

Research, investigate, and correct financial data variances and discrepancies.

Audit and reconcile daily casino‑generated documents and report any deviations from established company and regulatory policies and procedures.

Assist in the preparation of daily gaming reports for all games and slot machines.

Prepare any additional slot machine reports as required.

Read and reconcile daily progressive meters when required.

Review daily gaming reports for accuracy and irregularities.

Enter daily revenue information into journal‑entry format for general ledger upload.

Ensure compliance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures.

Audit and reconcile daily documents and report any deviations from established company policies and procedures. Perform daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policy and document the results of the audit.

Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.

Maintain strict security and confidentiality of all records and reports of the Audit Department.

Job Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or a GED. Two (2) or more completed college accounting courses and three (3) or more combined years of casino cage vault or slot attendant/technician experience are required. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of internal accounting control procedures is required. An Associate’s Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.

Obtain required license(s).

Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.

Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.

Have knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling.

Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.

Investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.

Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any team member that you have knowledge of.
