Senior Financial Analyst

to join our growing client in Phoenix.

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the finance team to provide in-depth financial insights, guide strategic decision‑making, and foster cross‑functional collaboration. This role is responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to ensure the organization achieves its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, delivering variance analyses and strategic insights.

Build, refine, and maintain financial models to inform business planning, pricing strategies and key strategic initiatives.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate objectives.

Communicate financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders.

Track and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics, reporting results and identifying opportunities for corrective or improvement actions.

Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses such as cost‑benefit studies, scenario modeling, and sensitivity testing to support strategic projects and business decisions.

Ensure data accuracy across financial systems while driving process enhancements to improve reporting quality and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect financial data, evaluate trends, and provide data‑driven recommendations.

Coach and support junior analysts, sharing expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and analytical best practices.

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or FP&A.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field required.

Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling expertise.

Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP or financial planning systems.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective communicator with the ability to comfortably present to leadership.

Collaborative, approachable and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Must be local or already planning to relocate to the Phoenix market to be considered.
