Territory: Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Bend, OR; Eugene, OR. Covers Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska.
Key Responsibilities
Sales positioning, analysis, and in‑service implementation of all AVANOS Enteral Feeding product categories, driving year‑on‑year sales increases per the AVANOS DH sales plan.
Develop and demonstrate business value selling skills and overall AVANOS sales acumen.
Maintain expertise across the entire range of AVANOS EF products and service platforms.
Execute tactical selling and business activities directed by region, National Sales Director, and VP of Sales to meet sales objectives.
Create and nurture high‑gain relationships with multiple decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts or markets.
Lead contract and price negotiations to secure committed business at optimal margins.
Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership, SOC Specialists, NICU Specialists, Clinical Education Specialists, and other internal partners/stakeholders.
Utilize AVANOS EF sales and marketing resources and tools to meet objectives.
Manage territory budget and utilize AVANOS EF sales support resources in compliance with policy.
Participate in regional strategic planning and execution.
Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements for uninterrupted access to customer facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 3 years of B2B or healthcare sales experience.
Proven track record of sales success.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Evidence of continuous professional growth.
Proficiency with PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Hospital setting comfort.
Travel by car required.
Preferred:
5+ years of medical device sales experience.
Experience selling capital equipment.
Experience in Enteral Feeding products and related disease states.
Top 10% sales ranking.
Hospital sales experience.
Salesforce.com experience.
Employment for customer‑facing roles requires satisfaction of all vendor credentialing requirements. If credentialing cannot be obtained, Avanos reserves the right to withdraw the employment offer.
Salary Range:
$70,000.00 - $130,000.00 plus incentive compensation and benefits.
