Minimum Qualifications
Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
Valid driver’s license.
Other Requirements
Must be able to continuously lift material up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting of cases of alcohol weighing up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to work a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in a public contact, retail store, cash-handling position.
Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service, builds a loyal customer base, and enhances the Commission’s reputation.
Acts as a store manager in a low-volume retail environment and supervises store personnel up to Retail Salesperson III level.
Assists with managing daily store operations such as opening/closing, merchandising, deposits, and inventory.
Provides routine training and guidance necessary for operation of state liquor stores.
Maintains inventory levels, calculates sales transactions, and prepares bank deposits.
Reviews/comprehends computer printouts, makes recommendations to the Store Manager.
Supervises store personnel and provides guidance for performance.
Serves in the capacity of a Retail Salesperson when not assisting the Store Manager.
Can fill in for higher-level Store Manager for short periods.
May be required to travel to other store locations on occasion.
Compensation Pay range: $17.81 – $23.39 per hour.
