This role is based in New York City. Ponte operates on a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays. Team members also benefit from designated summer Fridays and additional company-wide time off throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and growth of brand partnerships across beauty, personal care, and lifestyle categories
Represent Ponte’s roster of creators with a strategic, consultative approach to brand development, digital campaigns, and long‑term monetization
Build, expand, and nurture direct relationships with brands, agencies, and media partners in the beauty space
Craft high‑impact influencer marketing programs in collaboration with our Brand Partnerships and Talent teams
Pitch and close new business opportunities, proactively responding to RFPs with customized campaign strategies
Own deal structuring and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both talent and brand
Stay ahead of beauty trends, cultural insights, and emerging platforms to inform category strategy
Partner with internal teams to align campaign execution with client goals and creative standards
Oversee campaign lifecycle from initial outreach through execution, reporting, and retention
Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff or managing direct reports (if applicable)
Occasionally travel for client meetings, industry events, and team gatherings
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, sales, or business development, preferably with a focus on beauty or consumer lifestyle brands
Deep understanding of the beauty and personal care category, including key trends, brand priorities, and consumer behavior
Proven success developing and closing creator campaigns and talent‑led brand programs
A strong existing network of brand and agency contacts across relevant verticals
Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of exceeding revenue goals
Confident communicator and presenter, with experience owning the full sales process
Creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying strategic partnerships and talent‑brand alignment
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
Motivated, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented in a fast‑moving team environment
