Responsibilities

You will design and develop analog and digital circuit schematics using Mentor PADS schematic design tools

You will select electronic components based on electrical requirements, cost, and availability

You will generate and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, schematics, test reports, and revision history

You will collaborate with cross functional teams and third-party PCB layout engineers ensuring all requirements and specifications are met and signal integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability

You will develop test procedures and validate electrical performance through simulation, prototyping, and hands-on lab testing

You will work closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration

You will support board bring-up, debugging, and design validation throughout the product development lifecycle

You will produce reports on project progress and other details for managerial staff

You will interface with vendors, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to support PCB fabrication and assembly

You will test new systems and make design changes if needed

You will coonduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

You will stay updated in the latest advancements in design technologies and methodologies

You will troubleshoot and resolve design related circuit-level and system level issues during prototyping and production phase

You will travel up to 10%

Qualifications

You have proficiency in Mentor PADS schematic design tools and SAP

You have a solid understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, signal processing, and power systems

You are hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment

You have familiarity with high-speed digital design, power management, or mixed-signal circuits is a plus

You have strong knowledge of North American standards: NFPA, NEC, UL/cUL, CSA, as well as International and European standards: IEC/CE

You have eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies

You have strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

You have experience working in multi-functional team

You habe proven experience in PCB design manufacturing process and principles

You have ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

You have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

You have 5+ Experience with hardware development and PCB design

You have proficiency in CAD software

You have strong understanding of electronic components, circuits and systems

You have proven knowledge of industry standards and regulations
