What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Extract and manipulate internal and external data using R/SAS/SQL/Python to provide insights and recommendations.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate practices.
Participate in project development, including scope, timelines, and assignments while synthesizing project work.
Conduct statistical analysis and communicate significant findings to business partners.
Manage special projects and serve as an analytic consultant for team members and associates outside the department.
What is Required (Qualifications)
Undergraduate studies in data or business analytics, computer science, management information, business, mathematics, or a related field; post-graduate studies preferred.
Minimum of eight years of experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with advanced statistical techniques.
Detailed experience with large structured and unstructured data sets and databases.
Professional experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Proficiency with Databricks and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in compensation, agency distribution, and billing.
Familiarity with business intelligence applications using R/Python/SQL/SAS/Tableau.
