Talent Acquisition Coordinator Family Dollar is seeking a dynamic Recruiting Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This role provides administrative support for Corporate, Stores, and Distribution Center teams by managing a variety of TA‑related activities with a primary focus on scheduling and coordination of interviews and candidate logistics. The Coordinator will partner with the executive administrative team, travel and relocation teams, and contractor vendors to ensure a world‑class experience for every candidate.

This position will be based at our HQ office located in Chesapeake, VA, and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

Coordinate interview schedules with hiring teams and candidates (in‑person, video, phone).

Arrange candidate logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and escorting candidates around the campus.

Track candidates’ data within our Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management systems.

Assist with New Hire Orientation and onboarding tasks (e.g., preparing paperwork and completing I9 documents).

Track and report invoice and expense payments to ensure vendor payments are complete and documented for budget tracking.

Manage temporary staffing requests from the business with our preferred contingent labor vendors.

Process COBRA reimbursement requests.

Provide ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

3‑5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

Experience supporting and interfacing with leadership teams or executives in an enterprise organization.

Proficiency with MS Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.

Experience with Ariba purchasing and Concur travel software programs preferred.

Experience with applicant tracking systems and candidate relationship management systems preferred.

Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
