We're looking for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Loma Linda, CA.
Specialty:

Duration:
13 weeks.
Hours:
36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts).
Employment Type:
Travel.
The right RN should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities
Monitor patients' vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
Follow continuous cardiac and respiratory monitor readings (EKG tracings, O2 stats, CVP and arterial line waveforms) and report any observed changes.
Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs (both central venous and arterial).
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as ventilators.
Assist physicians during examination, treatment and procedures, including life‑saving situations.
Assist with insertion or discontinuation of central venous catheters, arterial lines, external ventricular drains, Foley catheters, epidural catheters and endotracheal tubes.
Qualifications
BLS, PALS, ACLS, 2 years of acute care experience.
Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
