Overview
Clinician/Therapist – School mental health clinic, Yonkers High School, Yonkers, NY. Full‑time, 12‑month position with potential for further professional growth.
Salary Salary information: $65,000 for LP-MHC/LMSW and $75,000 for LCSW/LMHC/LMFT.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Develop participant‑centered care plans.
Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence‑based interventions.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management (as applicable).
Offer peer support and engage students across the school setting.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and link students to additional services.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting.
Qualifications
Licensed New York State practitioner: LMSW, LCSW, LCSW‑R, LMHC, LP, LMFT, or equivalent.
Positive, culturally responsive attitude with ability to engage diverse populations.
Deep commitment to behavioral health recovery, harm‑reduction, and holistic person‑centered care.
Solid knowledge of evidence‑based practice for substance use and mental health treatment.
Commitment to social justice and principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.
