We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer with healthcare design experience in our Macon, Georgia and in our Atlanta, Georgia office.

Minimum Requirements

Associates Degree in Drafting or Design

2+ years of Mechanical or HVAC design experience

Must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD

Requirements

4+ years of Mechanical or HVAC design experience

Bachelor’s Degree

Completed work requirements and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE)

Engineer in Training (EIT)

Job Responsibilities

HVAC design, sizing, and layout of piping, ductwork, and equipment.

Perform calculations related to systems.

Correspond and communicate with senior engineers and project managers.

Work as a team member to conceptualize a design.

Obtain a working level of codes and standards governing building design, specifically as they relate to the healthcare industry.

Attend meetings to gather and obtain information

Project lead can switch between projects. At times, the candidate will be asked to lead peers and at other times he/she will be subordinate to peers.

Meet and correspond with clients and consultants.

Obtain a working level of codes and standards governing building design, specifically as they relate to the healthcare industry.

Attend meetings to gather and obtain information

Travel to sites and produce surveys and share with other team members to accomplish the design.

Verify installation of designs through system evaluation and accurate field observation.

Provide quality assurance and control for design drawings and specifications.

Provide cost and budgets for design.
