Job Summary
As employee of Barker Management Incorporated (“Company”), the authorized property management agent for various developments, the Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination for all data required to maintain current software portals for each of the developments assigned to the Assistant Regional Manager. The Assistant Regional Manager shall monitor all software portals to ensure data is accurate and up to date. The Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for directing the manager and other staff to ensure data is current and accurate. Should there be issues with the data or staff the Assistant Regional Manager shall inform Regional Manager, and if necessary Operations Manager and / or Human Resources. The Assistant Regional Manager shall ensure the lease up process is proceeding within the timeline required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the accuracy and timeliness of data in OneSite, BI, Financial Reports, Ops Technology, RP Compliance, and related systems for all assigned developments. Ensure data input and updates by site staff are completed correctly and on schedule. Troubleshoot data‑related issues and escalate to the Senior Regional Manager, Operations Manager, or Human Resources as needed. Ensure recertification processes are completed accurately and timely, including generation and tracking in RealPage / OneSite. Support compliance with all applicable affordable housing program requirements (e.g., HUD, LIHTC, Section 8). Monitor and report on compliance metrics, working closely with Compliance Department as needed. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and operational support to site‑level property managers and staff. Evaluate and standardize procedures across properties to ensure operational consistency and efficiency. Promote a collaborative and positive work culture across all assigned developments. Assist with evaluating job performance of site employees, specifically as it relates to data accuracy and compliance, in coordination with the Regional Manager and Human Resources. Prepare and distribute required operational reports for internal stakeholders, property owners, and investors in a timely and accurate manner. Provide regular updates to the President, Senior Regional Manager, and Ownership on vacancies, delinquencies, legal issues, staffing, and other critical developments. Participate in internal audits, inspections, and operational reviews. Stay up to date on affordable housing regulations and software updates.
