The College of Nursing at the University of Kentucky invites exceptional candidates to apply for a full‑time, 12‑month Regular Title Series, tenure‑eligible position, open rank of Associate or full professor with a possible endowed professorship. This on‑site position is based in Lexington, KY, and anticipates a start date no later than July 1, 2026 (earlier start negotiable). We seek candidates who use innovative approaches to address Kentucky’s major health concerns (cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma) and have a strong commitment to graduate education and mentorship. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of grantsmanship and productivity in health‑related research, a commitment to education, and collaborative, community‑engaged research/scholarship. The role may involve teaching at graduate and/or undergraduate levels, active participation in service to the university and profession, and faculty, staff, trainee, and student mentorship. The candidate will serve as a primary researcher and mentor for early‑stage and mid‑career scientists across the college and UK’s research centers. Research start‑up funds are negotiable. PhD in nursing or PhD in an associated field with a master’s degree in nursing.
