Job Overview
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The position includes 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, and a start date of ASAP.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.
Contract Details
Pay: $1,656 – $2,181 per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks with possibility to extend to 26 weeks.
Shift: 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
Other details: NOC shifts available.
Duties
Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
Sterilize radiologic equipment and maintain patient safety.
Explain scanning procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.
Apply appropriate radiation protection practices.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
