Position Description: Senior Project Manager to join our team providing leadership and management supporting A & M’s portfolio of environmental projects. Duties will include:

Direct, manage, and lead project teams;

Proposal development (technical writing, cost estimating, coordination meetings, scheduling, etc.);

Project planning and execution;

Budgeting and reporting;

Development of planning documents;

Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management;

Successfully execute projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This position is remote, with periodic travel required ( What You’ll Be Doing:

Financial and technical evaluation of projects for a diverse customer base consisting of both private and government sector clients;

Build confidence among leadership, project teams, internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and relationship building;

Serve as the subject matter expert for all work phases of remediation and construction projects;

Manage activities performed by project teams, including multiple subcontractors, to ensure contract compliance;

Lead meetings and interface with senior managers, staff, and clients to support all components of project work;

Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors;

Identify and mitigate project risks relating to schedule, quality control, and health and safety;

Coordinate and forecast staffing and equipment needs;

Promote and participate in program and project reviews with senior management;

Identify the need for corrective actions and initiate, recommend, and coordinate solutions for project issues and challenges;

Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Requirements: Required Skills:

Highly driven individual seeking to support a variety of projects;

Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget;

Minimum 6 years of project management experience on environmental remediation projects, including oversight of project teams, management of budget, schedule, safety, quality, technical performance, cost estimating, and customer satisfaction;

Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate work;

Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite required, experience in MS Project and PowerPoint a plus;

Technical writing and project scheduling experience;

Strong understanding of industry experience/background;

Focus on successful execution of current and future project portfolio;

Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams;

Proven history of technical leadership, client management, and business development;

Understanding of relevant environmental regulations and related experience with permit applications and associated processes;

Managing subcontractors and field activities;

Work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment demonstrating a high degree of self‑motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment;

BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Science, or a related academic field (MA/MS in a related field may decrease the years of experience required);

Current OSHA 40‑hr. HAZWOPER and Supervisor Training;

Experience working on Federal contracts, such as USACE, Air Force, or EPA;

Other duties as assigned.

Skills (not required):

Residential remediation experience;

Mine waste remediation experience;

Project Management Professional (PMP);

Proven track record of managing projects safely and to quality standards;

USACE EM 385, 1‑1 Safety training;

Experience implementing the USACE 3‑Phase Quality Control System;

Experience with USACE Management System (RMS).
