Job Description Produce and revise precise detailed AutoCAD drawings. This includes detailing and designing Architectural railings and other fabricated materials. Must complete a full set of drawings which include RFIs, site plans, elevations, sections and details of assigned project including shop assembly drawings upon field verification. Minimum 5 years of experience.

Detail commercial and public projects as it pertains to scope of Architectural Railings.

Must adhere to Craneveyor’s Safety Standards.

Must work well with supervisors and project managers to submit, review and approve all detailing complex projects.

Communicate with the Fabrication Manager/Foreman and Production Managers on the scope of projects including design details, dimensioning, assemblies along with material stock and procurement. Discuss any obstacles pertaining to client specifications with Production Manager.

Must be able to draw in AutoCAD (Solid works/3D is a plus but not required).

Provide updates on the status of Work Orders.

Track multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Maintain protocols for secured graphic projects.

Create Assembly drawings.

Create Client model rendering drawings.

Competencies

AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Solid Works, layout and detailing.

Exceptionally time conscious and able to plan and implement improvements.

Ability to identify and anticipate production and operation needs.

Strong communication and visualization skills with 3D designs.

Basic understanding of metal fabrication and industrial safety, health, and environmental impacts.

Firm grasp of computer/graphics/AutoCAD/3D terminology and drawing standards.

Use proper lifting techniques and equipment when handling heavy objects over 50 lbs or large dimensions.
