Manufacturing Engineer
Wayland, MI | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Full-Time, Exempt
Recco Products, a leader in aerospace-quality filter manufacturing, is seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer
to design, improve, and optimize production processes. In this role, you’ll support new product development, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows
Apply lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Provide technical support to production teams
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Manage projects from concept to completion
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship (ITAR requirement)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
2-4 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
Experience interpreting GD&T, drawings, and specifications
Knowledge
Sheet metal fabrication, punch and die design
Welding (resistance, micro‑TIG, laser)
CNC machining and deburring
Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma practices
