FULL TIME Customer Service Specialist needed for busy veterinary clinic in NE Minneapolis. Applicants MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of 1 year working in a medical office (veterinary , but will consider other)
Duties include Busy multi-line phone system, along with client contact in person, via email and text. Responsible for handling client requests or sending to appropriate personnel, appointment scheduling (via phone, in person, email and text), invoicing clients for services and collecting payment, contacting clients regarding overdue services for their pets, maintaining cleanliness of front office, performing end of the day deposit.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm with up to 1 hour for lunch. End of shift times vary depending on work load, it is NOT UNUSUAL to work 15-30 minutes past end of shift time to complete daily tasks.
Wage: Depends on experience $20 per hour to start.

Required skills
Must have a MINIMUM of 1 year experience working in a medical setting as receptionist/customer service representative
Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written since a majority of the position is communicating with our clients.
Candidates need to be prompt and reliable.
Ability to navigate difficult situations and conversations -- angry clients, sick pets, euthanasia -- on the phone and in person
Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions.
