Research, collect and synthesize business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, interviews, field reports, or purchased sources

Seek, identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications

Provide monthly summaries of relevant market information and Vactor’s market opportunity and position

Insure CRM information integrity and relevance as a market data repository and query‑able database

Manage and regularly report information on the product development portfolio, including idea generation and attractiveness scoring, the NPD pipeline and its stages, and the benefit realization after the product or initiative introduction

Evaluate levels of product success/failure relative to plans and competitors (win/loss). Input to corrective actions

Work with sales and manufacturing to vet special/custom requests and manage RFQs

Assist dealers with bid breakdown and monitor trends

Answer technical product questions posed by dealers and create FAQ knowledge base

Maintain bid specs (incorporate ECN changes as required)

Make option rationalization recommendations including bundling to SPM

Implement pricing actions, maintain whole goods and options price book, and publish to the field

Create and publish to the field marketing bulletins and technical product bulletins

Assist with trade shows, demonstrations, and sales training initiatives when needed

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skill required.

Complete (or capable of obtaining) Pragmatic Marketing certification.

Data collection and analysis skills

Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Project Management skills highly valued.

Must be willing to travel (up to 20%)

CDL preferred- chosen candidate may be requested to pursue to operate products.

Salary Range – $75-90k
