What You’ll Do As a contract Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll support the creation of advanced PCBs and electrical harnesses with a strong focus on manufacturability. Your work will span design, analysis, testing, and rapid prototyping, contributing directly to the delivery of high‑impact systems.
Key Responsibilities PCB Design
Capture schematics and perform PCB layout using Altium Designer
Select components and manage libraries
Apply DFM and DFT principles to optimize for production and testing
Generate fabrication and assembly documentation
Harness Design
Create electrical harness schematics and layouts in Altium
Define connector pinouts and cable routing
Build accurate BOMs for harness assemblies
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers
Participate in design reviews and produce technical documentation
Support prototype builds and assist with troubleshooting
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in electrical/electronic product development
Expertise in Altium Designer
Proven track record designing PCBs and harnesses as a hands‑on technical contributor
Familiarity with EMI/EMC best practices and high‑speed communication design
Strong communication and documentation skills
