Structural Engineer – Hybrid Schedule, Collaborative Culture
Join our collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team designing Civic, Commercial, Education, and Healthcare projects. We’re seeking a Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of post‑graduate experience (PE license or working toward licensure) to work in our Bangor or Portland, ME office with flexible hybrid scheduling.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate daily with architects and other engineers in a multi‑discipline team environment
Perform structural analysis and load path calculations for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
Analyze, design and detail structural building elements for both new construction and renovations
Prepare construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
Use Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, RISA 3D and RISA Floor for design and analysis
Review and interpret building codes, product specifications, and technical documents
Conduct field visits to document existing conditions and observe construction
Prepare technical reports and clear project correspondence
Review submittals, RFIs and contractor questions during the construction phase
What We’re Looking For
BSCE or MSCE (structures focus) from an ABET‑accredited program
3–5 years post‑graduate experience in structural engineering
Licensed PE or actively working toward licensure
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, RISA 3D, RISA Floor)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and eager to learn
Team‑oriented with a collaborative approach
