We are seeking an experienced
Structural Engineer
to join our growing civil and structural design team in
Towson, MD . This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of mid‑rise and high‑rise building projects, including commercial, multifamily, industrial, and mixed‑use developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood‑framed structures, as well as a passion for innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed
structural analysis, design, and detailing
for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.
Prepare
construction documents, plans, and technical reports
that meet code requirements and project standards.
Develop proposals, manage design phases, and provide direction on deliverables for assigned projects.
Apply advanced engineering principles for
reinforced and post‑tensioned concrete
systems, podium construction, and mid/high‑rise structures.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure project success.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers or design staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
5–10 years
of experience in structural design for commercial or multifamily buildings.
EIT or PE license
preferred (or actively pursuing).
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD ; experience with
Revit Structure
and/or
RISA‑3D
highly desirable.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
