Oversight of design process and development for data center electrical controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc. and electrical equipment including switchgear and distribution. Provide input on electrical controls systems designs during project planning and contribute to preparation of technical documentation and reports. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all electrical work meets project specifications and quality standards. Provide oversight of installation and commissioning of electrical controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc. and electrical equipment including switchgear, distribution and other critical electrical equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular schedule and progress reviews, providing updates and insights to client teams and stakeholders. Provide oversight of diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical system issues during start up and commissioning process. Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and smooth project execution and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in electrical systems throughout the construction lifecycle. Oversee preparation and maintenance of accurate QA/QC/Cx documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists. Oversee provision of detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion. Ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, AISC, etc.). Stay updated on latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to electrical systems and share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices. Flexible: Work location includes a mix of remote, onsite at client, or at Accenture office. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or additional 4 years of related experience. 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical. 3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience. Bonus Points
Comprehensive understanding of controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc., and electrical equipment including switchgear and distribution. Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions. Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors. Ability to lead a diverse team within a dynamic environment and take initiative when necessary. Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, IEC, NEC, NFPA related to electrical systems. Experience with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and energy efficiency optimization. Experience with or coordination of electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software. Compensation
