Job Description
Some of the responsibilities could include: Communicate with our clients to cultivate a clear understanding of project expectations and design criteria Develop electric system models using Milsoft and SKM engineering analysis software Prepare written and oral reports that explore electric system challenges and provide recommended solutions Design substation and distribution line facilities using software and engineering judgement Assist in the calibration, testing & programming of protective relays Produce technical specifications that adhere project design criteria and industry standards Provide leadership in the candidate’s specific area of technical expertise Qualified Candidates should: BSEE from an ABET accredited university At least five years of progressive experience with medium voltage power systems Registration as a Professional Engineer or sit for the PE exam within 6 months Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to provide on-site project observation and technical assistance during construction Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a design team Willing to relocate to Knoxville, TN area Additional Qualifications
