ANS, a leading consulting engineering firm, is looking for an Entry‑level Civil Design Engineer. ANS focuses on civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the United States.
Job Responsibilities
Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidate will complete civil engineering designs and construction plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits, and reports.
Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set‑ups.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of site grading & storm drainage, erosion and sediment control, and storm water best management practices; strong desire to learn and interest in civil engineering design.
Show attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and good communication skills.
Position Requirements
B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent.
EIT license.
0‑3 years of experience.
Software Expertise
2‑D CAD intermediate.
Civil 3D CAD novice; able to create basic alignments and existing profiles.
Google Earth, Microsoft Suite, AutoTURN.
