Job Description
The Project Superintendent is responsible to supervise the field construction of a project and complete the work on schedule, within the budget, and to the quality of workmanship specified. In the performance of this duty, it is the Project Superintendent’s responsibility to understand and deliver Oswood Construction Company’s contractual obligations in a manner that is consistent with Oswood’s corporate culture and core values.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of a construction project, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and in accordance with local building codes.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Utilize construction management for project 2 week look ahead and tracking.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including change orders, RFIs, As-builts, work logs, and daily reports.
Short-term look ahead scheduling and coordination (Typically 2 weeks).
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent.
Provide quality assurance from groundbreaking to close-out.
Must be able to read and understand project documents (i.e. plans, specifications, contracts, etc.).
Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Suites, Primavera, Bluebeam).
Self‑motivated, punctual and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel.
