Salary: $115,000 – $175,000 per year. Location: Appleton, WI (remote work possible). Role: Structural Engineer in an engineering consultancy that provides full‑service engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services to industrial process manufacturers in pulp & paper, chemical, CPG, F&B, power, and heavy industrial markets. Key Responsibilities
Design structures that are resilient to human use and environmental factors. Configure structures and oversee drawing production. Select appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support materials. Inspect construction work to ensure structural soundness. Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawings. Conduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stresses. Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction. Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers. Monitor contractor work for structural integrity. Administer small sub‑contracts and manage structural projects. Inspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundations. Utilize computer‑aided design technology for simulation purposes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in industrial structural engineering. Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit. Familiarity with steel, concrete, and masonry materials. Experience with heavy to light industrial projects and rotating and vibration analysis. Advanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clients. Benefits
