LHH is partnering with a Florida-based engineering firm known for its collaborative approach and longstanding development projects to fill a Professional Civil Engineer role. The ideal candidate brings both technical design expertise and permitting experience, along with strong project coordination skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
Design site infrastructure including stormwater systems, potable water distribution, sewer collection, and roadway layouts.
Develop and review construction plans, calculations, and technical reports for land development projects.
Coordinate permitting packages with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and assist with project phasing and implementation plans.
Conduct construction inspections and support permit closeout documentation.
Required Skills
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong understanding of land development permitting and regulatory processes
Ability to manage technical documentation and timelines across multiple projects
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience focused on land development
Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite
Salary $110,000-$140,000 annually DOE, plus bonus
