to maintain accurate employee, payroll, and time and attendance data in
ADP Workforce Now . This role ensures data integrity, supports payroll processing, and contributes to efficient HR operations and compliance.

About the Role The
Payroll and HRIS Coordinator
is responsible for ensuring that employee, payroll, and time data in
ADP Workforce Now
are accurate and up to date. This position supports payroll and benefits administration, maintains HR data integrity, and assists with compliance reporting.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location:
Fairfax, VA
Essential Functions
Maintain and update employee
time and attendance data
in ADP; reconcile timecards for accuracy prior to payroll.
Review and approve employee
status changes
(hires, terminations, pay changes, transfers, promotions) in ADP.
Manage
PTO policy allocations
and ensure accurate setup, accruals, and reconciliations per FRC policy.
Review and reconcile
401(k) contributions and loan deductions
between ADP and provider reports.
Assist with
bi-weekly payroll processing , reviewing timecards and verifying employee data.
Serve as
backup for payroll processing
during absences or high-volume periods.
Audit HRIS data for accuracy, including department and location coding.
Track
FMLA and third-party sick pay claims ; ensure proper coding and documentation.
Generate time and leave reports for managers and support
compliance audits
and reconciliations.
Partner with HR and Benefits teams to reconcile payroll deductions and reimbursements.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal and state laws, including
HIPAA .
Requirements
High school diploma plus business coursework required;
college degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in payroll or HR data administration.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance modules highly preferred.
Strong
Excel skills
(pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
