Position Overview
The Global Sales Executive will play a key role in driving the company’s North American expansion, focusing on acquiring and developing Fortune 500 and enterprise-level customers. This is a strategic, high-impact role for a motivated sales professional who thrives on hunting new business and closing complex global deals. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of international freight forwarding, along with a strong network of senior supply chain decision-makers, to deliver tailored logistics solutions and establish long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new global business opportunities across target industries, focusing on North American and multinational clients. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to support the company’s growth objectives in key trade lanes and verticals. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with logistics, procurement, and supply chain leaders. Collaborate with internal teams across operations, pricing, and customer service to create customized, value-driven freight solutions. Manage the entire sales lifecycle — from lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, and closure. Stay informed on market conditions, trade lane developments, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings throughout North America and globally. Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team revenue and margin targets.
Requirements
5+ years of proven sales experience in global freight forwarding or international logistics solutions (air, ocean, and multimodal). Demonstrated success in developing new business with Fortune 500 / multinational clients. Strong knowledge of global trade, supply chain processes, and key logistics trade lanes. Proactive “hunter” mindset with a passion for new business development and growth. Established network within the North American logistics and transportation sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Willingness to travel frequently across North America and internationally.
