Position Summary
Pharmacist in Charge at Walmart Pharmacy leading a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff to provide comprehensive patient care, community outreach, and operational excellence within the Walmart retail environment. What You'll Do
Process and dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Maintain merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, inventory levels, and proper signage. Model and enforce customer‑service standards, resolving customer needs in line with company guidelines. Lead community outreach initiatives and encourage associates to serve as community ambassadors. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies; analyze reports, implement loss prevention, and oversee safety and quality assurance reviews. What You'll Bring
Proficiency in patient and provider interaction. Data‑analysis skills to improve pharmacy performance and patient outcomes. Financial analysis ability to support informed business decisions. Experience managing a pharmacy, including staff and operations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Active pharmacy license (by job entry date). Completion of an ACPE‑accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, state pharmacy association program). Preferred Qualifications
U.S. pharmacy‑related experience. Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $197,000.00, with additional performance bonuses.
