Job Description What You Will Accomplish:
Clean all areas of the property's guest rooms according to standards and procedures, including changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and dusting, emptying trash, maintaining cleanliness of balconies and terraces, and cleaning and dusting room furnishings.
Restock guestroom amenities and literature as needed and maintain linen closet in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
Assist with restocking as assigned and respond to guest requests pertaining to room cleanliness, amenities, and linen to exceed guest satisfaction.
Immediately report any noted repairs or maintenance of guestroom, public areas, or back‑of‑house areas and resolve guest complaints within scope of authority.
Notify supervisor or security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft, and notify management of any problems resulting from guest complaints, intoxication, or disruptive behavior.
Retrieve, stock, restock, and store housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
Clean all corridors and service areas as assigned and notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of any rooms or equipment and any accidents.
What You Will Bring:
Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel environment preferred.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor with general communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction and ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Completion of required training on proper disposal/handling of sharps and other safety procedures.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
