Motion Designer (HYBRID) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in New York, New York.
Pay Rate: $35‑43/hr
HYBRID‑flexible onsite/remote schedule
What You’ll Be Doing:
Client is the world’s premier media and entertainment company with a portfolio of content, brands and franchises across television, film, streaming and gaming.
The Designer, Print / Digital position is responsible for the day‑to‑day design production of unique and creative design solutions that serve the company's strategic needs while maintaining brand consistency.
Work closely with the VP of Brand Creative, Sr. Art Director, Sr. Designers and Social/Digital producers.
Supply fresh ideas for digital/print materials while maintaining the network brand.
Inform and consult on talent photo shoots, considering how changes on set impact overall design and execution.
Design print collateral for events and out‑of‑home execution.
Design high‑quality key art for use across all digital platforms.
Design show logos and branding for new shows.
Concept and execute digital design, including social media friendly layouts.
Provide strong communication and presentation skills.
Conceptualize and implement concepts ensuring design is in sync with the network’s brand guidelines.
Work closely with the Photography Department to develop ideas, manage and maintain the network brand.
Work closely with the Print Production Manager to keep all projects on time and on budget.
Design On‑Air IPMs.
Assist in designing marketing presentations and slides as needed.
Required:
Strong design sense with natural ability in working with layout, type and logo design.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment under tight deadlines.
Experience in Entertainment, Media, or Streaming Brand.
BFA in Graphic Design and Advertising and 3+ years of experience.
Familiarity with Motion Design.
Portfolio examples of Key Art and Motion Graphic Design.
Strong typography sense.
Conceptual thinker, detail‑oriented, able to work independently and with clients under pressure and juggling multiple projects.
Knowledge of prepress layout & print production.
Expert knowledge of all current graphic software including Adobe CC Suite, Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
