Data Center Technician
We are recruiting GPU Deployment Data Center Technicians for a large project at a large data center in Mount Pleasant, WI. The role involves deploying and installing GPU clusters, labeling and staging power and networking cables, performing break‑fix tasks, decommissioning equipment, conducting physical audits and startup/shutdown routines, monitoring systems, and supporting programmers and analysts in testing and debugging.
Responsibilities
Deploy and install GPU clusters.
Run, label, and stage power and networking cables.
Perform break‑fix tasks, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty components.
Troubleshoot and decommission equipment.
Perform physical audits and startup/shutdown routines.
Monitor systems for failures or performance issues.
Support programmers and analysts in testing and debugging.
Qualifications
Years of strong data center technician experience (level determined by total years).
Level 3 (L3): 3+ years of experience managing hardware installation, cabling, and break‑fix tasks.
Level 4 (L4): 5+ years of dedicated data center experience, responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware issues in an enterprise GPU environment.
Team Lead: 5+ years of leadership or management experience, coordinating large‑scale GPU deployments.
GPU deployment experience (a huge plus).
Strong cabling and hardware installation skills.
