Business Intelligence Developer/Data Warehouse Architect Join Machine Solutions Inc. as a Business Intelligence Developer/Data Warehouse Architect. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining the company's business intelligence platform to provide scalable data insights across our manufacturing operations.

Job Overview As the BI Developer/Data Warehouse Architect, you will architect data warehouse and lake solutions, develop and maintain ETL processes, create self‑service dashboards, and support legacy reporting. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, ERP consultants, and data teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and build self‑service interactive dashboards using tools such as Domo and Power BI.

Architect and manage data warehouse/data lake solutions for legacy and next‑generation ERP systems.

Support legacy reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.

Work with business leaders to identify and deliver KPIs and other metric requirements.

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes and data pipelines.

Establish monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution for data pipelines.

Automate reporting solutions for business stakeholders.

Implement bi‑directional data integration between Salesforce and ERP.

Handle various data requests from parent companies and maintain out‑of‑the‑box ERP reporting.

Resolve data quality issues and document system architecture.

Maintain legacy on‑premises SQL databases and support acquisition‑related BI activities.

Collaborate with ERP consultants to design master data strategy and support data migration.

Develop real‑time factory floor dashboards and design BI solutions for data gathering, storage, and retrieval.

Consult users to identify data sources, required elements, and validation standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; industry certifications are a plus.

5+ years of IT experience in a related capacity, with at least 5 years working with Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience designing analytics with Domo, SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports, or Tableau.

ERP experience, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment.

Strong collaborative skills and entrepreneurial mindset.

Relevant combinations of education, training, or experience that demonstrate the ability to perform duties.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Advanced database management and tuning.

Expertise in financial reporting, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing tools.

Experience with data marts, data lakes, and AWS services.

Knowledge of Infor LN, Salesforce, HubSpot, and complex SQL queries.

Compensation & Location Compensation range: $113,000 – $129,000 annually. The role is in‑person, with location options including Flagstaff, AZ; Tucson, AZ; San Diego, CA; Bloomington, MN; Minneapolis, MN; Newfane, NY; Rochester, NH; Inman, SC; Spartanburg, SC.

Travel Required travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
