2 x Emmy Award Winning Video Producer and Executive Producer
Company Description
At WHEN, we're on a mission to hold corporations and other bad actors accountable for their actions; actions that often put profits over people and the environment. Part of how we achieve that is through the courts, funding lawsuits that are going up against these bad actors. And part of that is with media - through cinematic, social-first storytelling that connects people to the issues that matter most. Our goal is to provide value, ignite change and turn outrage into outcomes. Role Description
We’re seeking a full-time Social Editor / Motion GFX Designer to bring WHEN’s social storytelling to life through dynamic editing and motion graphics. You’ll collaborate with the Social Producer and Social Media Manager to craft weekly video content that informs, inspires, and performs across platforms. This job would be remote. Responsibilities
Edit short-form social content, ensuring pacing, tone, and visuals align with WHEN’s brand voice. Design motion graphics, title cards, and animated elements for social explainers and standalone posts. Collaborate with the Social Producer to integrate text, GFX, and animation into editorial formats. Maintain brand consistency and visual identity across all motion and video content. Manage post-production timelines and deliverables for weekly social publishing. Qualifications
4+ years editing social-first content (news, culture, or purpose-driven brands preferred). Strong skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Creative Suite. Experience creating motion GFX-heavy explainers or information-driven formats. Deep understanding of visual storytelling and retention tactics for social video. Ability to collaborate in a fast-moving creative environment. Proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple stories at once. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities. Experience in social justice or nonprofit sectors is a plus. Compensation: $110,000–$130,000
