Job Overview
LPL’s Enterprise Data Warehousing team is building enhanced data and insights capabilities by transforming them into cloud applications. We are looking for a technical leader to drive the implementation and adoption of cloud warehouses across multiple applications. This is a very hands‑on role working with a motivated, fast‑paced team.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and cloud migration of the enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring alignment with business goals and data governance.
Manage full lifecycle delivery from requirements gathering to production deployment across on‑premise and cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS).
Architect scalable cloud data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and AWS‑native services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Airflow).
Implement ELT/ETL pipelines using DBT.
Lead, coach, and mentor onshore and offshore development teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Act as a technical escalation point, resolving issues and proposing alternative solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Serve as the subject matter expert in database application delivery and optimization, with deep expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Oversee release management and post‑production support to ensure smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.
Lead application migration efforts to cloud‑based architectures and support remediation of existing implementations accessing data warehouses and lakes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
15+ years of IT experience, with 8+ years in Data Warehouse development and support.
Deep expertise in Snowflake, AWS services, and modern ELT tools.
Proven experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with enterprise databases.
Core Competencies

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience in coding technologies like Python, Scala, and SQL.
Experience with Informatica, Data Lake, Hadoop, MapR is a big plus.
CI/CD, GitHub, and Octopus or equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience in Fin‑Tech industry is a plus.
Strong understanding of Data Vault, Lakehouse, and Hub architectures.
Familiarity with Generative AI tech stack, such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, or similar; prompt engineering and fine‑tuning for business use cases; integration of LLMs into data workflows and applications.
Pay Range $115,575 – $192,625 per year. Total rewards include 401(k) matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, volunteer time off, and more.
