Job Description

Supervises and coordinates clerical staff and administrative operations of department. Performs diversified administrative/coordinative duties supporting the business activities of an executive. Participates in department projects.

Job Responsibility

Promotes department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.

Leads the activities of assigned Executive Administrative Support team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.

Supervises and coordinates clerical staff and administrative operations of department.

Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of clerical staff.

Ensures performance appraisals are completed in timely manner.

Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes.

Ensures proper maintenance and integrity of department's conventional and electronic records and information.

Administers executive's recordkeeping system; creates and updates various records and documentation, ensuring accordance with company policies and procedures.

Drafts confidential correspondence, reports, statements, etc.; takes meeting minutes, and performs related administrative duties.

Participates in department projects, including compiling and analyzing basic information for inclusion in reports and presentation materials and assists in monitoring expenditures and budget preparation.

Performs diversified administrative/coordinative duties supporting business activities of an executive.

Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational service; participates in developing and delivering training related to operations.

The primary location for this position is Manhattan, however occasional travel is required to Staten Island and Long Island (Nassau County).

Job Qualification

Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
