Job Overview and Responsibilities This role involves designing and maintaining integrated surveillance and access control systems, with a focus on IP-based cameras, video management platforms, and network infrastructure. It requires hands‑on experience with tools like Milestone XProtect, Genetic, and Level OnGuard, as well as proficiency in scripting for automation and system optimization. Responsibilities span hardware installation, software configuration, virtual machine deployment, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The work also includes cross‑functional collaboration and documentation of technical procedures. Familiarity with cloud‑based solutions and AI‑driven analytics is advantageous.

Design, install, and maintain IP-based surveillance camera systems and electronic access control platforms , ensuring reliable coverage and system integrity across facilities.

Configure and manage Video Management Systems (VMS)

such as Milestone XProtect, Genetic, Level OnGuard, and Software House, including integration with physical security infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to camera hardware, network connectivity, and hosted software applications , maintaining optimal system performance and uptime.

Deploy and manage Level OnGuard

to support access control monitoring, analytics, and system scalability.

Develop and implement automation scripts

using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to streamline system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity standards across all surveillance and access control systems.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams

to support large‑scale security infrastructure projects and document technical procedures for operational continuity.

Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field

4+ years of relevant experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Capable of multi‑tasking and supporting a variety of applications within the Windows server environment

Aptitude for problem‑solving, seeking out the best solution possible

Strong level of poise in high‑pressure environments

Active commitment to self‑development

Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
