Cloud-Native Infrastructure Engineer (Google Cloud Platform KEDA) Atlanta, GA (3 days onsite)

About the Role We’re hiring for one of our

premier consulting clients

modernizing enterprise-scale infrastructure with

cloud-native, event-driven, and auto-scaling architectures . As a

Cloud-Native Infrastructure Engineer , you’ll design, implement, and optimize scalable systems built on

KEDA

and

Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) . This is a hands‑on role working closely with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure systems scale automatically, perform efficiently, and remain highly available.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement auto-scaling frameworks

using

KEDA

and other tools for containerized workloads.

Integrate Google Cloud Platform-native services

such as

Pub/Sub ,

GKE , and

Ingress

for event‑driven scaling.

Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams

to analyze traffic patterns and define scaling thresholds.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines

with

Argo CD ,

GitLab CI/CD , or

Spinnaker .

Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests.

Monitor and fine‑tune scaling behavior

through

Prometheus ,

Grafana , and

Stackdriver .

Drive reliability, cost optimization, and operational excellence

across environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Production‑level experience with KEDA

and event‑driven architectures.

Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

(GKE, Pub/Sub, Ingress).

Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers.

Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm), and scripting (Python, Bash, YAML).

Strong understanding of Kubernetes operations, scaling, and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Platform Certifications

(Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer).

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.

Exposure to multi‑cloud or hybrid environments.

Proven record in cost and performance optimization.
