Assistant Manager Human Resources | Global Beauty Company We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Human Resources to support the field and point-of-sale population for a reputable beauty company. This individual will be responsible for implementing an impactful people strategy along with broad HR responsibilities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership and career development, engagement, compensation, culture, compliance, benefits, and employee programs.

This is a temporary role starting ASAP and lasting until the end of April 2026.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery and execution of HR programs and services across the regional brand teams in alignment with the NA Region’s business strategy.

Validate operational issues, develop solutions, and drive action with business partners.

Leverage HR strategies and practices to analyze and define talent needs, attract great talent, and build retention strategies.

Build relationships with key internal and external talent to engage the bench for key leadership roles.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on talent strategies and drive the selection of talent for key roles.

Lead and partner with business leaders on organizational effectiveness to enable strategic goals and optimize efficiencies.

Develop L&D programs that support career development and progression.

Coach leaders to maximize team performance through feedback and development.

Provide strategic coaching to key employees on succession planning, career path development, and performance management.

Partner with business leaders to evolve and embed the organizational culture, and develop change plans that engage leaders and employees.

Foster a culture that recognizes and celebrates our talent.

Engage and influence business leaders, providing strategic advice on people issues and HR needs.

Behavioral / Profile Characteristics

Minimum of 3–5 years of HR business experience.

Strong business acumen, operational skills, and partnership with all HR service delivery components.

High learning agility and strong communication, collaboration, influencing, project management, and change‑agent skills.

Ability to drive the HR strategic agenda using knowledge of the organization and its employees.

Detail orientation, ability to anticipate issues, and decision making with urgency.

Collaborative, inclusive, and action‑oriented management style.

Generalist HR business partner experience with exposure to all core functions.

Experience with transformation and change management work.

Capability to coach, develop, and empower a team of HRBPs to achieve performance and business goals.

Experience navigating highly complex, matrixed organizations and managing complex employee relations issues.

Competent knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory factors across states.
